ECPR Texas is one of the leading public relations firms in Texas. An Austin-based communications firm known for projects that make a positive difference, ECPR Texas specializes in media relations, digital marketing, video production, coalition building and grassroots efforts, event planning and crisis communications.

Formerly Elizabeth Christian Public Relations, ECPR Texas was founded in 1995 and acquired by Kristin Marcum, a long-time employee and the firm’s president, in March 2022. 

ECPR Texas is dedicated to developing and delivering measurable communication strategies that align with our clients’ objectives.

Ballet Austin & ECPR Texas gets POE-tic during SXSW: Partnership with Virtigo Pictures sets the stage for integrated marketing campaign

Ballet Austin’s recent partnership with Austin-based virtual production company Virtigo Pictures set the stage for an integrated marketing campaign featured in AdWeek. Ballet Austin and Virtigo Pictures used a giant, curved LED screen with virtual environments built with Unreal Engine technology, to create the cinematic trailer for the World Premiere of Stephen Mills’ POE / A Tale of Madness. The ballet, which premiered on March 22, explores the tragic life and macabre works of American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe.

Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI)

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) is a leading center of educational expertise and resources for Texas students who are blind, visually impaired or Deafblind. TSBVI works in partnership with schools, families, communities, and organizations to transform outcomes for students. Like many educational institutions across the country, TSBVI was faced with critical staff shortages and a lack of new applicants. TSBVI began working with ECPR Texas in January 2023.

Texas Library Association

The Texas Library Association (TLA) hired ECPR Texas in January 2022 and our solution was to form a grassroots coalition called Texans for the Right to Read and execute a public information campaign in opposition to the current push by Texas’ elected officials to ban books from Texas libraries. The goal of this coalition was to bring enough awareness to the issue that should it end up in the 88th Texas legislative session, there would be organized opposition ready to act.
