Coalition Building in Texas

We know what it takes to successfully build a coalition from the ground up.

How It Works

ECPR Texas understands that there is nothing more powerful than the organized voices of many coming together as one to enact change. Our team has a proven track record building coalitions across the state, with experience ranging from a multi-year effort to bring a Major League Soccer club to Austin–resulting in Austin FC–to a statewide coalition opposed to book bans in schools.

We are the b2c(community) experts in Austin, and we know what it takes to successfully build a coalition from the ground up, beginning with a coalition name and brand to messaging, media relations, and digital strategy and execution.

Texas Library Association

The Texas Library Association (TLA) hired ECPR Texas in January 2022 and our solution was to form a grassroots coalition called Texans for the Right to Read and execute a public information campaign in opposition to the current push by Texas’ elected officials to ban books from Texas libraries. The goal of this coalition was to bring enough awareness to the issue that should it end up in the 88th Texas legislative session, there would be organized opposition ready to act.
