The debate surrounding TikTok’s future in the United States is raising critical questions for businesses, creators and community leaders. As policymakers weigh privacy and national security concerns, the possibility of a TikTok ban or stricter regulations underscores the need for organizations to reduce their dependency on one platform and switch to a more comprehensive strategy.

Earlier this month, the Travis County Commissioners Court voted unanimously to approve the Travis County CARES Resolution, Creating Access for Resilient Families, to expand access to high-quality, early child care and after school/summer care for low-income families.  As a result, Travis County voters will have the opportunity to decide on a tax rate election that, if passed, will provide high-quality, affordable child care to more than 8,000 children in our community.

Ballet Austin’s recent partnership with Austin-based virtual production company Virtigo Pictures set the stage for an integrated marketing campaign featured in AdWeek. Ballet Austin and Virtigo Pictures used a giant, curved LED screen with virtual environments built with Unreal Engine technology, to create the cinematic trailer for the World Premiere of Stephen Mills’ POE / A Tale of Madness. The ballet, which premiered on March 22, explores the tragic life and macabre works of American writer and poet Edgar Allan Poe.

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) is a leading center of educational expertise and resources for Texas students who are blind, visually impaired or Deafblind. TSBVI works in partnership with schools, families, communities, and organizations to transform outcomes for students. Like many educational institutions across the country, TSBVI was faced with critical staff shortages and a lack of new applicants. TSBVI began working with ECPR Texas in January 2023.
