Kat Griffith joined ECPR Texas in September 2014 and has almost 20 years of public relations experience. As senior vice president, Griffith leads strategy for a diverse roster of clients including St. David’s HealthCare, Texas Health Action, Ballet Austin and H-E-B, among others. Recently, Griffith led the firm in supporting the 2025 Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter Work Project with Austin Habitat for Humanity, which brought together thousands of volunteers in Travis County to help build 25 affordable homes in just 5 days.
Prior to joining ECPR Texas, Griffith spent six years in New York City developing and executing PR campaigns for national and global brands including Capital One, Timberland, Gillette, The Art of Shaving and Hewlett-Packard. Griffith played a key role in the execution of product launches geared towards young trendsetters– which included brand repositioning for Timberland, the launch of VenusEmbrace Disposables (the first five-blade disposable razor), and the GilletteFusion ProGlide razor.
Griffith is affiliated through advocacy work with The Human Rights Campaign and Communities In Schools Of Central Texas. She is a 2025 Austin Under 40 Finalist and currently serves on the board of Women Communicators of Austin.
Griffith graduated in May 2008 from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations.
