Seth Nieman is a senior account executive at ECPR Texas, and his clients include the Austin Transit Partnership, Texas Mutual and the Texas Restaurant Association, among others.
Nieman’s background in media relations and public affairs includes experience in creative writing, crisis communications, message development, nonprofit advocacy and storytelling.
Before joining ECPR Texas, Nieman served as a communications associate at West End Strategy Team in Washington, D.C., where he assisted in the development of public relations campaigns for both local and national nonprofit organizations and advocacy groups. Nieman also briefly led public relations and community outreach efforts at Mississippi Votes, a voting rights nonprofit in his native-state of Mississippi.
Nieman earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge (Geaux Tigers!) and a Master of Arts degree in media & strategic communication from George Washington University in D.C.
In his free time, he enjoys catching a good movie, rooting for the San Antonio Spurs, and staying active by finding a nice route for a run. He has run six marathons, and four as a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s Team Momentum while raising funds for the MDA in honor of his older sister Hannah.
