One of the benefits of working at ECPR is collaborating with clients who give back to the community. We often manage sponsorships and community donations to nonprofit organizations on behalf of our clients, and it’s very rewarding.
Recently, ECPR helped coordinate two community donations from Monarch Utilities in East Texas. The water utility company donated $2,500 to Nichols Green Park in Jacksonville, Texas, for a new wheelchair-accessible water fountain and an industrial picnic table, and $2,500 to CASA of Trinity Valley in Athens for volunteer recruitment and retention efforts.
Monarch Utilities I, L.P., is a subsidiary of SouthWest Water Company, which owns water and wastewater utilities across Texas.
My colleague, Lindsay Ketchum, and I traveled to Jacksonville and Athens to assist our client in presenting the donations. We got to see firsthand where the donations were going and received lots of appreciation from our hosts. It is always a privilege to represent our clients when they give back to the communities they serve.
