Case Study

Shalom Austin wanted to increase membership and plan a number of key stakeholder events for the grand opening of its newly renovated Dell Jewish Community Center, a more than $25-million investment.

The organization’s goals required ECPR Texas’ assistance with community engagement and event coordination, along with a media strategy to make the biggest splash possible. In addition to supporting the in-house marketing team with several mailers and member-recruit strategies, our agency planned, organized and executed a VIP ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the grand opening of the new facilities with donors, along with city and community leaders. This planning included facilitating vendor and speaker coordination and media pitching, as well as the publication and execution of the event. Notable speakers included Michael and Susan Dell, Austin Mayor Kirk Watson, Austin City Council Member Alison Alter and president of the JCC Association of North America, Doron Krakow.

Thanks to ECPR Texas’ relationships, planning and outreach, more than 300 community leaders, donors, city officials and media outlets attended this special event. We are proud to have helped highlight Shalom Austin as a prominent leader in the Central Texas community.
