Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI)

The Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (TSBVI) is a leading center of educational expertise and resources for Texas students who are blind, visually impaired or Deafblind. TSBVI works in partnership with schools, families, communities, and organizations to transform outcomes for students. 

The Problem: 

Like many educational institutions across the country, TSBVI was faced with critical staff shortages and a lack of new applicants. 

How We Helped: 

TSBVI began working with ECPR Texas in January 2023. We built a digital targeting campaign from the ground up to increase awareness about careers with TSBVI. We did this by documenting a “day in the life” of each of the three current employees.

The goal of these campaigns was to increase applications in order to fill current job vacancies. 

There were several components to our multifaceted approach, where ECPR Texas:

  1. Produced six custom videos which were shared on digital platforms.  
  2. Built and launched 17 targeted social campaigns.
  3. Curated 30+ custom creative digital assets. 
  4. Drafted and deployed employee and parent social media toolkits. 

Results: 

Since the start of our work with TSBVI our campaign resulted in an overall 35% increase in applications for available careers at TSBVI.
