Before joining ECPR Texas, Strauss worked as a communication aide in the Texas Senate during the 88th Legislative Session, where she regularly provided legislative updates to local, statewide and national media outlets. She also interned in the Texas House of Representatives during the 87th Legislative Session.
Strauss is from Seguin, Texas, and graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in public relations and a minor in business administration. In her spare time, Strauss enjoys exercise classes, spending time with family and friends and listening to Taylor Swift on repeat!
